What is Alia Bhatt’s net worth?

Alia Bhatt, an Indian-born British actress who works in Hindi-language films, was born on March 15, 1993. Four Filmfare Awards have been bestowed upon her. Since 2014, she has been a part of Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list, and in 2017, she was included in Forbes Asia’s 30 Under 30 list. Her brand worth was evaluated to be US$36.5 million by Duff & Phelps in 2018, making her the ninth most valuable Indian celebrity.

She is the daughter of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and actress Soni Razdan. She had her first leading part in Karan Johar’s teen drama Student of the Year, after making her acting debut as a youngster in the 1999 thriller Sangharsh (2012).

She went on to star in several films produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, including the romantic comedies 2 States (2014), Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014), and Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017), as well as the coming-of-age drama Dear Zindagi (2016).

Bhatt received the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress for her role as a kidnapping victim in the road drama Highway (2014), as well as three other Best Actress awards for her roles as a Bihari migrant in the crime drama Udta Punjab (2016), an undercover spy in the thriller Raazi (2018), and the volatile girlfriend of an aspiring rapper in the musical drama Gully Boy (2019).

Bhatt has her clothing and handbag line, as well as the production firm Eternal Sunshine, and is the founder of the environmental movement CoExist, in addition to performing in films. Six of her film songs have been recorded, including the 2014 single ‘Samjhawan Unplugged.’

Bhatt was eager to play a greater role after being disappointed by the critical reception to Student of the Year. She returned to the cinema after a year away, similar to co-stars Malhotra and Dhawan, in Imtiaz Ali’s road movie Highway (2014), in which she played a lonely adolescent girl who suffers Stockholm syndrome after being abducted.

Alia sang the song ‘Sooha Saaha’ in Highway as a playback singer (2014). The film’s composer, A. R. Rahman, urged her to attend his music school for instruction.
