Deepika Padukone has consistently wowed audiences with her unmistakable chemistry with co-stars such as Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor in her films. Deepika, on the other hand, has only once worked with a few actors. The following is a list of those individuals:
Farhan Akhtar
In the critically acclaimed mind-twister entertainer Karthik Calling Karthik, Deepika Padukone collaborated with Farhan Akhtar. Karthik Calling Karthik tells the story of a man who has been unlucky in love and mistreated at work, and who is resigned to his dead-end life until he receives mysterious calls from – himself. The film is directed by Vijay Lalwani and stars Ram Kapoor, Shefali Shah, and Vivan Bhatena.
Rishi Kapoor
Deepika Padukone starred alongside Rishi Kapoor in the romantic comedy Love Aaj Kal, which also stars Saif Ali Khan. Love Aaj Kal, directed by Imtiaz Ali, depicts the narrative of an old-fashioned romantic who shares his personal romantic drama with a modern man who has recently broken up with his fiancée.
Love Aaj Kal, which was released in 2009, also stars Rahul Khanna and Raj Zutshi. Deepika and Rishi Kapoor were cast in the Hindi remake of The Intern, however, due to the actor’s unfortunate death, it is unclear who would play Deepika’s co-star in the film.
Imran Khan
Deepika starred alongside actor Imran Khan in the critically acclaimed film Break Ke Baad in 2010, which chronicles childhood friends Abhay and Aaliya as they navigate the world and find their way back to each other despite numerous challenges. Break Ke Baad, directed and written by Danish Aslam, also features Sharmila Tagore and Lillete Dubey in key parts.
