58th birth anniversary: Sridevi is still alive in the hearts of fans

The first female superstar of Bollywood Sridevi, who ruled millions of hearts, is still remembered as the character of ‘Hawa Hawai’ and ‘Chandni’.
Sridevi’s 58th birth anniversary is being celebrated today. Actress Sridevi took her last breath on February 24, 2018.
In an interview given to Colors Cineplex, Sridevi had revealed that she had become very possessive as a mother.
Sridevi is a very protective mother instead of being a possessive mother. Sridevi said that she thought her daughters should get married and settle in their life, but she was wrong.
She also wanted her daughters to be independent and take up a profession in which they can stand on their own feet.


Sridevi was very angry about Jhanvi’s coming to Bollywood. She said that ‘When Jhanvi took up acting as a profession, I felt possessive like any mother.
Sridevi said that this profession has given me everything, but when I came to know about Jhanvi’s choice, I was shocked. However, Sridevi died before Jhanvi’s debut film Dhadak.
Sridevi is also remembered for her portrayal of Charlie Chaplin in the film ‘Mr India’ to playing the role of a wishful serpent in the film Naagina.
At the same time, after marrying producer Boney Kapoor in 1996, she distanced herself from the film world.
During an interview, she had revealed that she took a break from the film world to take care of the upbringing of her daughters Janhvi and Khushi.
She said that it was her daughters who encouraged her to return to the film world after 15 years.
Sridevi’s comeback film was English Vinglish in 2011, directed by Gauri Shinde. Sridevi started her career as a child artist in Tamil films at the age of four.
After which she became a popular actress, she acted in many films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
