Actress Chitrashi Rawat, who started her career with Shahrukh Khan’s sports drama film ‘Chak De India!, expressed happiness on completing 14 years of the film’s release.
The film was released on 10 August 2007. Shahrukh Khan was in the lead role in this film. In addition, 16 actresses made significant appearances in this film. Chitrashi Rawat was also among these 16 actresses.
Talking about the film, Chitrashi said that it feels great when people remember you and your work. Chak De India has affected people in a very positive way. Even now, people encourage the players by saying, ‘Chak De. It is a matter of pride for her to be a part of such a great film.
Chitrashi said that all the female cast of this film comes over the phone and share their old stories on 10 August every year. The month of August is very special for all of us.
Chitrashi made her Bollywood debut with the film Chak De India. Shahrukh Khan played the role of coach of the Indian women’s hockey team in this film.
Chitrashi said that she was very young when she worked with Shahrukh. She further added that it is exciting to work with him again as she grew older and smarter.
Chitrashi is currently working with her on the new television series ‘Zee Comedy Show’.
