I am not “Treated Like a Star” at Home: Rinku Rajguru

Rinku Rajguru made her debut in a Marathi film at the age of 14. she didn’t know the results of the movie. She didn’t know that her debut film “Sairat” would become a successful film of her time with an enormous box-office collection and multiple awards.
She didn’t know that within six years, she is going to be working with iconic stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Amol Palekar or Lara Dutta. Two of her anthologies will be releasing on two prominent OTT platforms. Rinku says she is yet to feel famous and successful because she never counts on the result but looks for a replacement project, new story and new learning a day.
“I come from a middle-class family and both my parents are school teachers. In fact, in our family, there’s none connected to the business of cinema,” said Rinku.
Rinku Rajguru further added that as I even have an academic environment at home, reading newspapers, being conscious of what’s happening in society and talking about current affairs with parents is natural in our household because we’ve two teachers.”
Rinku Rajguru shared that she isn’t “treated like a star” at home. On one hand, my parents support me a lot in becoming an actress, but there is a way of discipline all the time. Maybe that’s why I live a traditional, very regular lifestyle and I’m proud of what I’ve got.

“Sairat” was released in 2016 and have become a moment hit. It was later remade in Hindi titled “Dhadak” starring Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter.
The 20-year-old actress has shared screen space with Bollywood actress Lara Dutta in “Hundred”. She was ready to form her Bollywood debut with “Jhund” starring megastar Amitabh Bachchan. However, the film got pushed due to the worldwide outbreak of COVID-19.
Rinku Rajguru will be seen appearing within the anthology titled ‘Unpaused’ released on Amazon Prime Video. Her latest release “200 Halla Ho” is receiving tons of affection for her performance.
Rinku Rajguru’s parents are so happy about her achievements but they’re also grounding her all the time. My house has a cheerful and open environment.
Rinku will next be seen within the upcoming anthology “Ankahi Kahaniya” releasing on Netflix on Citizenship Day i.e. 17 September.
