Kangana Ranaut has shared two pictures on her Instagram story, the first about Captain Vikram Batra and the second about the film Shershaah. Kangana Ranaut posted and wrote, ‘National hero Captain Vikram Batra was from Palampur in Himachal. He was a very popular soldier. When the tragedy happened, this news spread like wildfire in Himachal. His memories are still fresh in our hearts. As a child, this news bothered me for many days.

Sidharth Malhotra and Bollywood actress Kiara Advani played the lead roles in this film directed by Vishnu Vardhan. ‘Shershaah’ is a biopic of Kargil war hero Captain Vikram Batra, who was martyred while defending the country during the war.
Bollywood queen Kangana Ranaut is often heard saying negative things about filmmaker and producer Karan. Kangana had accused him of being a contractor of nepotism in an episode of Karan Johar’s famous talk show ‘Koffee With Karan’ a few years back.
