Shilpa Shetty, a famous Bollywood actress, broke her silence on the arrest of her husband, Raj Kundra. She released a statement on a social media platform saying that the past few days were challenging for her and her family. Also, she requested everyone not to disturb her and her family.
Two weeks before, her husband was arrested because of the production and distribution of pornography content. She said that she is a proud law-abiding Indian citizen, and she has complete faith in the Mumbai police. Shilpa said that the media and others has passed many false statements about her. Many people trolled her and put questions on her and her family. She said that she is taking a stand by not saying anything regarding the case as it is under judicial consideration.
Instagram post of Shilpa got support from the Bollywood industry. Varun Dhawan, Dia Mirza, Jacqueline Fernandez, Farah Khan, and others. Also, Gauahar Khan showed her support by commenting “strength” on Shilpa’s post. Besides this, Abhimanyu Dassani, who is a co-star of Shilpa’s upcoming movie ‘Nikamma’, showed support by commenting on that post with raised hands emoji.
She added by saying that she is in her profession from the last 29 years. Also, her fans have put their faith in her as she never let anyone be dispirited. She requested everyone to respect her family and the right to privacy in this hard time. Shetty also said that she doesn’t need any media trial and let the law take their judgement. She ended the post with positivity and gratitude.
