South Indian Actress Chitra dies at 56 due to Cardiac Arrest

Malayalam actress Chitra passed away on 21 August 2021 due to a heart attack. She took her last breath in her home. The actress was only 56 years old.
Chitra had worked in more than 100 South Indian films. Her demise has caused a deep loss to South Indian cinema. The actress was very famous in the 80s.
She worked in more than 100 films in Malayalam and Tamil in her film career. She was busy shooting for Tamil serials these days.

The Malayalam actress worked with every top actor of her decades like Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi and Mammootty. She gave more than 100 best films to Malayalam and Tamil industries. Her best films include ‘Attaklasam’, ‘Commissioner’, ‘Panchagani’, ‘Devasuram’, ‘Amaram’, ‘Eklavyan’, ‘Rudraksh’ and ‘Mr. Butler’ at the top. The audience is always praised Chitra for her performance. Besides the cinema, the actress has also tried her luck in many TV shows.

Currently, she was busy shooting for a Tamil serial. She was in the lead role in this show. She has also worked in Hindi, Kannada and Telugu films. In Hindi, the actress appeared in films like ‘Razia’ and ‘Ek Nai Paheli’. Chitra’s role in these films may be small but it was memorable. She was born on 21 May 1965 in Kochi, Kerala. Due to the sudden demise of Chitra, there has been a wave of mourning in the South Industry.
