What is the age of Farah Naaz?

Farah Naaz Hashmi, better known by her stage name Farah, was a popular Bollywood actress in the mid-1980s and early 1990s. She is Tabu’s younger sister. She is 55 years old now.

Farha made her cinematic debut with Faasle, directed by Yash Chopra, in 1985. She was a well-known actress in Bollywood throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s. In the 1989 Bengali film Aamar Tumi, she was paired with Prosenjit Chatterjee. Naseeb Apna Apna (1986), Imaandaar (1987), Woh Phir Aayegi, Naqab (1989), Yateem (1988), Baap Numbri Beta Dus Numbri (1990), Begunaah (1991), Bhai Ho To Aisa (1995), and Sautela Bhai (1995) were among Farha’s notable films. Her three films with Rajesh Khanna are still remembered today.

After her first marriage in 1996, she withdrew from performing, though she did a few television serials later. Rajesh Khanna, Rishi Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Deol, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Aamir Khan, Mithun Chakraborty, Govinda, and Aditya Pancholi were among the greatest actors of her time.


Farah Naaz was born in a Hyderabadi Muslim family to Jamal Ali Hashmi and Rizwana. Soon after, her parents split. Her maternal grandmothers were retired academics who headed a school, and her mother was a schoolteacher. Her grandpa, Mohammed Ahsan, was a mathematics professor, and her grandmother, Elizabeth Ahsan, was an English Literature professor.
