Which is Chloë Grace Moretz’s debut film?

Molly in Heart of the Beholder (2005), a story of a family who started the first video rental store in 1980, was Chlo Grace Moretz’s first film role. Following that, he had a brief role as Young Charlie in Family Plan (2005).
Ken Tipton wrote and directed the drama movie Heart of the Beholder in 2005. It is based on Tipton’s personal experience in the 1980s as the proprietor of a videocassette rental chain.

Tipton and his family founded the first videocassette rental outlets in St. Louis in 1980, but their business was ruined by a campaign of Christian fundamentalists who opposed the chain renting out the movie The Last Temptation of Christ.

The film premiered at the Westwood Film Festival in 2005. ‘There’s no shortage of material for writer-director Ken Tipton to work with here,’ critic Ryan Cracknell said. Simply because of this, Heart of the Beholder is a film worth watching.

It’s a politically charged film in many aspects since it deals with subjects like free speech, religious beliefs, and outright extremism. Still, I didn’t think it had enough balance, and I believe it had a lot to do with the film’s erratic pacing. At the 2005 New Hampshire Film Festival, the movie took home the best feature prize, as well as the director’s choice award at the 2005 Bluegrass Independent Film Festival.
