Christopher Tucker popularly known as Chris Tucker is an American comedian and actor, born on August 31, 1971. Tucker made his stand-up debut on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam in the 1990s, and he was a regular on the show for the rest of the decade.
Rush Hour is a buddy-action comedy movie directed by Brett Ratner and written by Jim Kouf and Ross LaManna based on a narrative by LaManna that was released in 1998. Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker feature as mismatched cops tasked with rescuing a Chinese diplomat’s kidnapped daughter. On the last day of British sovereignty in Hong Kong, in 1997, Hong Kong Police Force Detective Inspector Lee leads a raid at the waterfront in the hopes of apprehending the unnamed, faceless criminal lord Juntao. Only Sang, Juntao’s right-hand guy, is found, and he flees in a boat.

Rush Hour earned approximately $140 million in the United States and $103 million in the rest of the world, totaling over $244 million worldwide.
