Who are the Top 10 richest actors of Bollywood?

Many Bollywood celebrities have been featured on the renowned Forbes list of the World’s Highest-Paid Actors over the years. Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Akshay Kumar were ranked Nos. 8, 9, and 10 in 2017. Meanwhile, actor Akshay Kumar climbed to sixth place in 2020, earning a staggering US$48.5 million per year, surpassing Hollywood heavyweights Lin-Manuel Miranda, Will Smith, and Jackie Chan.

1.      Shahrukh Khan (USD 750 million): 

According to a report, Shah Rukh Khan’s forthcoming film Pathan, produced by Yash Raj Films, will cost over US$13 million. With over 108 film roles under his belt, the 55-year-old actor has earned a net worth of around US$750 million.

2.      Amitabh Bachchan (USD 400 million): 

Aside from acting, the 79-year-old actor runs a number of enterprises. He bought a 10% investment in Just Dial in 2013 and a 3.4 percent stake in Stampede Capital, a cloud computing business.

3.      Salman Khan (USD 260 million): 

Khan made an amazing US$40 million between 2017 and 2018, according to Celebrity Net Worth. Salman Khan Films, the star’s own production firm, with a reported operating income of roughly $400 million.

4.      Akshay Kumar (USD 250 million): 

With no recent box office disappointments, Akshay Kumar was the only Indian actor to make Forbes’ list of the World’s Highest-Paid Celebrities for 2020. He also made news last year when he charged US$15 million for Aanand L. Rai’s upcoming project, confirming his status as India’s highest-paid actor.

5.      Aamir Khan (USD 205 million): 

With his social commentary flicks, Aamir Khan, dubbed “Mr Perfectionist,” changed the path of Bollywood. Dangal, his 2016 film, was the highest-earning Indian film of all time at the box office, grossing US$340 million globally.

6.      Kamal Haasan (USD 100 million): 

For decades, the Tamil superstar has starred in and produced Bollywood blockbusters such as Biwi No 1, Chachi 420, Hey Ram, Mumbai Xpress, and Ramji Londonwaley.

7.      Shahid Kapoor (USD 70 million):

Following the success of his 2019 hit film Kabir Singh, Kapoor’s compensation was reportedly boosted to US$4.6 million per feature. According to a report, the 40-year-old actor reportedly owns two magnificent properties in the Andheri and Juhu areas, the latter of which is valued at over US$4 million.

8.      Hrithik Roshan (USD 45-48 million):

Hrithik Roshan should be higher on the list, but due to his picky nature (he didn’t sign up for any new projects in 2018! ), he drops a few spots. That does not, however, imply that he is poor.

9.      Ranbir Kapoor (USD 42 million):

According to a newspaper report, Ranbir Kapoor, one of Bollywood’s most sought-after stars, is asking around US$800,000 for a day’s endorsement. He is claimed to endorse at least ten products at any given time, ranging from Asian Paints, Pepsi, and Panasonic to Renault and Flipkart.

10.   Saif Ali Khan (USD 40 million):

Saif Ali Khan, the son of erstwhile royal and Indian cricket team captain Tiger Pataudi, is frequently seen in his ancestral house, the Pataudi estate, which is said to be worth over US$100 million.
