Riteish Vilasrao Deshmukh, an Indian actor, television host, and film producer best known for his work in Hindi and Marathi cinema, was born on December 17, 1978. He is 43 now.
Deshmukh received acclaim for his portrayal in the 2004 comedy Masti, after making his acting debut in the 2003 drama Tujhe Meri Kasam. Masti (2004), Kya Kool Hai Hum (2005), Bluffmaster! (2005), Malamaal Weekly (2006), Heyy Babyy (2007), Dhamaal (2007), and Double Dhamaal (2007) were among his subsequent commercially successful comedies (2011).
The drama Ek Villain (2014), as well as the comedies Housefull (2010), Housefull 2 (2012), and Grand Masti (2013) were his highest-grossing flicks (2013). In 2008, he starred in De Taali, for which he received critical acclaim, and later in Chamku, both of which bombed at the box office.
Deshmukh is the son of Vaishali and Vilasrao Deshmukh, the ex-chief minister of Maharashtra and Union Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises India. Deshmukh attended GD Somani Memorial School and graduated from Mumbai’s Kamla Raheja College of Architecture with an architecture degree.
Deshmukh founded Mumbai Film Company in 2013 with the production of the Marathi film Balak Palak, which won numerous honors. On 3 February 2012, he married Genelia D’Souza, his co-star from Tujhe Meri Kasam, Masti, and Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya. Riaan, their first child, was born on November 25, 2014.
