It is the first Bond picture distributed by Universal Pictures, who took over the international distribution rights after Sony Pictures’ contract expired with the release of Spectre in 2015. United Artists Releasing owns the North American rights, as well as the worldwide digital and broadcast rights; Universal owns the physical home media rights worldwide.

The movie has grossed over $771 million worldwide, becoming it the third highest-grossing picture of 2021. It got generally excellent reviews, with many finding it to be a satisfying conclusion to Craig’s time as Bond.
