National Award Winner GV Prakash Kumar is gearing up for the release of his next film as a music composer, ‘Thangalaan’. The pan-India film starring Chiyaan Vikram and directed by Pa. Ranjith is gearing up for the release in the worldwide cinemas on August 15th, 2024, and the music by GV Prakash Kumar has already started making waves with the audiences showering love to it.
Recently in the audio launch function of Thangalaan, Chiyaan Vikram praised GV Prakash Kumar and said, “GV Prakash Kumar is another hero for ‘Thangalaan’. With his power of music, he will not only make you watch the story but also he will make you hear it.”
Continuing the same Vikram said, “I previously collaborated with him for ‘Thaandavam’ (2012) and ‘Devathirumogal’, and the songs of these films, even now when we hear them, are so good. In Thangalaan, I don’t know how you did it, but the pain and the emotions you brought in every frame are astounding. You did it with such new sounds and made it so powerful. I really love him, and I love the way you do your work. Thanks a lot for the wonderful music.”
‘Thangalaan’ marks the third collaboration of GV Prakash Kumar with Chiyaan Vikrama, and the duo will be next collaborating on ‘Veera Dheera Sooran Part 2’.
Talking about GV Prakash Kumar, the multi-faceted talent who composed music for Sarfira has exciting line-ups, which include Kangana Ranauat’s ‘Emergency’, Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Sky Force’, and Kamal Haasan’s production venture ‘Amaran’ starring Siva Kartikeyan. Besides this, GV Prakash is gearing up for the release of his sea horror fantasy film “Kingston, which he himself has produced under Parallel Universe Pictures and Zee Studios. The Pan India Film Kingston will be releasing soon in cinemas.
