Bhuban Badyakar who became an internet sensation after his song Kacha Badam went viral on social media, has met with a car accident on Monday. As per reports, he has received injuries on his chest and face. Bhuban is currently enjoying the success of the song which has garnered over 50 million views on YouTube.
As per the media report, Bhuban met with an accident while learning to drive. He is currently receiving treatment in Suri Super Speciality Hospital in Birbhum.
Earlier, in an interview, Bhuban talked about his Kacha Badam song and how he had no idea that people would like it. “I just want people to know about my song and I want the government to help me with some funds to make some permanent living arrangements for my family. I also want to give them good food to eat and good clothes to wear,” he said.
For the unknown, Bhuban is a resident of Kuraljuri village of Birbhum district of West Bengal. Before the song went viral, he used to sell peanuts on his cycle. He has a family of five, which includes his wife, a daughter and two sons.
