Who was the villain in Love Story 2050?

Love Story 2050 is a 2008 Hindi-language science fiction romance film starring Priyanka Chopra and produced by Pammi Baweja and directed by Harry Baweja’s son Harman Baweja. Adelaide, Australia was used for some of the filmings. The film was planned to be released on December 21, 2007, but due to lengthy post-production work, it was pushed back to July 4, 2008.

The premiere took place in London on July 2, 2008. While the Telugu film Aditya 369 dealt with travel to the past as well as a gloomy post-apocalyptic future, Love Story 2050 focused solely on travel to a utopian future-city of Mumbai in the year 2050.

As expected, the love story continues. Even with the addition of the masked villain, Dr. Hoshi, and the race to return to the time machine, as well as the film’s greatest attraction, a teddy bear robot named Boo, the plot fails to thicken.

Love Story 2050

It is Bollywood’s first utopian time travel film. The film was a commercial and critical flop when it was released on July 4, 2008, with praise for its special effects but criticism for its directing, storyline, and Harman Baweja’s acting.

The film did not receive a strong early response, and advance bookings for the sci-fi movie were mediocre at best, with only roughly 25%–30% of seats reserved. Another major factor in the film’s failure is the release of Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.

A game based on the film is being developed by Rocking Pixels in collaboration with unknown US-based companies. The game was supposed to be launched in June at a cost of roughly Rs200; however, due to the failure of the film, the game’s release date has been pushed back.
