A major security breach rattled a celebrity-studded high-rise in Pali Hill, Bandra West, after an unidentified man entered the premises and damaged the building’s lift dumped with stones. The tower is home to stars like Kriti Sanon, Javed Jaaferi, and cricketer KL Rahul.
The incident was discovered early Monday when residents found the lift non-functional. CCTV footage revealed the accused placing large stones inside the lift and making inappropriate gestures toward the camera.
Senior Inspector Sanjeev Dhumal of Khar police stated, “We have registered an FIR in this matter. The accused was traced through his car number and was found to be hospitalised. We will verify all details once he is discharged.”
