Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan reportedly sustained an injury while filming high-octane action sequences at Mumbai’s Golden Tobacco studio. Though the exact nature of the injury remains undisclosed, sources close to the actor confirmed it is a muscular injury — a result of years of strain from performing stunts.
“Shah Rukh has flown to the US for medical attention. It’s nothing serious, but due to the recurring nature of his muscle injuries, doctors have recommended a short period of rest,” a source told a media portal.
Following the treatment, SRK has been advised to take a month-long break from work. As a result, the next schedule of his upcoming film King has been pushed to September or October.
