Shibani Dandekar and Farhan Akhtar’s wedding ceremony was the talk of the town last month. The couple took the plunge in a low-key affair in Khandala on February 19. A few days after the wedding, Shibani changed her name and Instagram bio. In her bio, she wrote, “Mrs Akhtar”. However, now, Shibani deleted it.
On February 23, Shibani changed her name on the social media platform to ‘Shibani Dandekar-Akhtar’, and her bio read, ‘Producer, Presenter, Actress, Singer, and Mrs. Akhtar’.
Recently, social media users were confused if Farhan’s wife Shibani was expecting her first child. In a set of pictures posted by Shibani, netizens commented that she looked pregnant. However, it was just the tequila, according to the newlywed Shibani. The actress-model took to her Instagram stories and posted a video flaunting her flat tummy and wrote, “I am woman! I am nottttt pregnant! It was the tequila.”
For the unaware, Shibani and Farhan exchanged voes on February 19 at Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi’s Khandala farmhouse and later registered their marriage on February 21 in Mumbai. Farah Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Amrita Arora, Saqib Saleem, Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani, and Loy Mendonsa were among their guest list.
