Singer and television presenter Aditya Narayan and his wife Shweta Agarwal welcomed a baby girl on February 24. The singer shared the happy news with his fans and followers today, March 4. He shared a dreamy photo from their wedding where Aditya can be seen applying ‘sindoor’ on Shweta’s forehead. Sharing the photo on Instagram, he wrote, “Shweta & I feel extremely grateful to share that the almighty has blessed us with a beautiful baby daughter on 24.2.22. @ibtida.co @thehouseontheclouds.”
Several fraternity friends and colleagues took to the comment section to congratulate the couple. Neeti Mohan wrote, “Congratulations Aditya and Shweta on becoming parents. Love to all of you.” While Gangubai Kathiawadi actor Shantanu Maheshwari wrote, “Congratulations to you both!!!”
In January this year, Aditya had expressed his wish to have a daughter. He said, “I would love to have a daughter because fathers are closest to their daughters,” he told ETimes in an interview. His parents, veteran singer Udit Narayan and Deepa Narayan Jha are equally excited about the baby. “My father and mother are both excited that they will become grandparents soon, but my father (singer Udit Narayan) is a little shy like me when it comes to expressing himself.”
For the unversed, Aditya dated Shweta for a decade before tying the knot in December 2020. The duo met on the sets of the film ‘Shaapit’ and hit it off instantly.
