Hindi television channel Zee TV on Friday announced some new shows for the evening slot. The name of the show is Rishton Ka Manjha and Meet.
Meet starring Ashi Singh and Shagun Pandey in lead roles depicts the journey of a spirited young girl from Haryana. She is not only the sole breadwinner for her family but also breaks gender stereotypes by working as a meet delivery agent.
While Rishton Ka Manjha explores the intense love story of Diya and Arjun. Based in Kolkata, the show revolves around Diya, a Bengali girl who hopes to support her middle-class family, and Arjun, a former badminton champion who has put his career at risk after a scandal. The show stars Aanchal Goswami and Krishal Ahuja in the lead roles.
Zee TV Business Head Aparna Bhosle said that while Rishton Ka Manjha talks about the power of optimism and never loses sight of the light at the end of the tunnel, Meet brings you a spirited hero who will break gender stereotypes And will prove that in today’s time a girl is capable of fulfilling the responsibilities both inside and outside the house. We hope they get as much love as other shows.
Meet’s producers Shashi and Sumeet Mittal shared that though some shows entertain the audience, some make them sit and think about life, question their mindset and watch as time goes on. Hope to bring positive change together. ‘Meet’ is an extraordinary story for us, which will not only touch the hearts of people with its engaging narrative but will also inspire them to introspect.
Rishton Ka Manjha producer Sushant Das said that our show depicts the journey of Diya. He is like an anchor in Arjun’s life. She will make him realize that even though life is not as fair as badminton, there is always a solution to every problem.
Rishton Ka Manjha and Meet is all set to air on Zee TV from August 23.
