Morgan Freeman is an American actor, director, and narrator who was born on June 1, 1937. Freeman is noted for his diverse appearances in a wide range of film genres, and he is known for his distinctive deep voice. He has won numerous awards throughout the course of his five-decade career, including an Academy Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and a Golden Globe Award.
