Autism is a disease that has no bounds. While the ailment affects people in diverse ways, it has an impact on people’s lives all over the world. It makes no difference who you are, where you live, your financial situation, or the lifestyle choices you choose. Autism is a condition that has no borders. It should come as no surprise, then, that the illness has affected the children of some of Hollywood’s most famous stars. Seargeoh Stallone, Sylvester Stallone‘s son, was diagnosed with autism in 1982. At the moment, he was three years old. Stallone and his wife dubbed him the “silent genius” because, despite having difficulty expressing himself orally, he loved to doodle and write letters as a child.
“There’s no actual father-son relationship there… I had to take on the role of his playmate. “You have to put your ego aside with a child like this,” Stallone stated of his son. Although the diagnosis devastated the family, Stallone worked tirelessly to raise awareness and even donated money to autistic research.
Sylvester Enzio Stallone, an American actor, screenwriter, director, and producer, was born on July 6, 1946. He gained his first critical praise as an actor for his co-starring part as Stanley Rosiello in The Lords of Flatbush, after laboring as a struggling actor for several years after coming to New York City in 1969 and then Hollywood in 1974.
In the early 2000s, Stallone’s popularity waned, although he resurfaced in 2006 with the sixth installment in the Rocky franchise and 2008 with the fourth installment in the Rambo franchise. In the 2010s, Stallone starred as mercenary Barney Ross in The Expendables film series (2010–2014). Stallone is the only actor in American film history to have starred in a box office number one film for six decades in a row.
