Talitha Eliana Bateman is an American actress born on September 4, 2001. She had starred in independent drama films like So B. It (2016), the science fiction film The 5th Wave (2016), the supernatural horror film Annabelle: Creation (2017), the disaster film Geostorm (2017), the romantic comedy film Love, Simon (2018), and the horror film Countdown (2019) since making her acting debut in a 2013 episode of the sitcom The Middle.
Bateman was born in the California town of Turlock. She traveled to Los Angeles with her older sister to begin applying for parts. She’s never taken any acting classes before. She is currently residing in southern California. Talitha Bateman is the youngest of eight children and the second youngest overall; her brother Gabriel Bateman is an actress as well.
Bateman made his debut appearance on screen in a small role on the ABC sitcom The Middle in a 2013 episode. She was in the pilot episodes of Maker Shack Agency and Mamma Dallas, however, neither show was picked up for a second season. Bateman played Scarlett Kincaid, a recurring character on The CW’s comedy-drama Hart of Dixie, in three episodes during the fourth season of the show.
Bateman made his cinematic debut as Kayla in The Hive, a science fiction horror film that premiered at Fantastic Fest in September 2014. She starred as Teacup in The 5th Wave, a science fiction film, and Nicole in Nine Lives, a comedy film, both of which were released in 2016.
