Which Hollywood film was shot in India?

Tenet is a science fiction action thriller film directed by Christopher Nolan and produced by Emma Thomas, set to be released in 2020. It stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Michael Caine, and Kenneth Branagh, and is a co-production between the UK and the US.

The story follows a secret spy who learns to alter time to stop a future attack that threatens to wipe out the present world. Hoyte van Hoytema, the cinematographer, used 65mm and IMAX film. There were almost a hundred ships and thousands of extras involved.

After thinking for over a decade about Tenet’s key principles, Nolan spent more than five years writing the screenplay. Tenet was released in IMAX, 35 mm, and 70 mm in the United Kingdom on August 26, 2020, and in the United States on September 3, 2020, after being postponed three times due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

It was the first Hollywood tent-pole to premiere in cinemas following the pandemic shutdown, collecting $363 million globally, making it the fifth-highest-grossing picture of 2020. The film earned mostly excellent reviews from critics and was nominated for Best Visual Effects and Best Production Design at the 93rd Academy Awards.
