Which Indian film earned the most?

Since the early twentieth century, Indian films have been shown in marketplaces all over the world. As of 2003, Indian films were being screened in over 90 different countries. Bollywood (Hindi) films account for the majority of the highest-grossing Indian films. Bollywood accounts for 43 percent of India’s net box office earnings in 2014, while Tamil and Telugu films account for 36 percent, and other regional industries account for 21 percent.

1.      Dangal: 

Dangal is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language biographical sports drama film directed by Nitesh Tiwari, written by Tiwari, Piyush Gupta, Shreyas Jain, and Nikhil Mehrotra. The film was produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao under Aamir Khan Productions with Siddharth Roy Kapur producing the original Hindi version under the Disney banner. The dubbed local and foreign versions under the UTV Motion Pictures. The film grossed 2,024–2,100 crore (US$311–330 million) worldwide on a budget of 70 crores (US$9.8 million), including $216.2 million in China, making it one of the country’s top 20 highest-grossing films.

2.      Baahubali 2: The Conclusion: 

S. S. Rajamouli, who co-wrote the film with K. V. Vijayendra Prasad, directed Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, a 2017 Indian epic action film. Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni produced it under the banner Arka Media Works. The film was made on a budget of Rupees 2.5 billion. With worldwide revenue of 1,796.56 crores, The Conclusion briefly eclipsed PK (2014) to become the highest-earning Indian film of all time, grossing nearly Rupees 8 billion in just six days.

3.      Bajrangi Bhaijaan: 

Kabir Khan directed Bajrangi Bhaijaan, a 2015 Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film. Kabir Khan partnered on the script along with K. V. Vijayendra Prasad, Kausar Munir, and Parveez Sheikh. Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and debutante Harshaali Malhotra feature in the film, which is produced by Salman Khan and Rockline Venkatesh. The principal photography for the film, which has a budget of 90 crores (US$13 million), began in November 2014. It is presently the third highest-grossing Indian film and the second-highest-grossing Bollywood film, with a worldwide gross of 969 crores ($150 million).
