Venom: Let There Be Carnage had its world debut on September 14, 2021, in London, and was distributed in theatres on October 1, 2021, in the United States. Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, it was postponed from its original October 2020 deadline.

The film has grossed over $443 million worldwide, making it the eighth highest-grossing picture of 2021. Critics have given it mixed reviews, while it is generally thought to be an improvement over its predecessor.
