How much money does the Hollywood movie Industry make in a year?

If that estimate is right, the revenue from American filmed entertainment will total over 32.5 billion dollars. That’s more than the combined results of China, Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Canada.

The top five box office markets in the world (including the United Kingdom and South Korea but excluding China) each contributed less than two billion dollars to the global total.
