Zsa Zsa Gabor is at the top of the list of celebrities who have been married the most. In 1935, she married Burhan Asaf Belge, but the couple separated in 1941. Zsa Gabor was a Hungarian-American actress and socialite who was born on February 6, 1917. Eva and Magda Gabor, both actresses, were her sisters.
Gabor began her acting career in Vienna, and in 1936 she was named Miss Hungary. In 1941, she moved to the United States from Hungary. She rose to fame as a sought-after actress with ‘European flare and style’ and a personality that ‘exuded charm and grace.’ Her debut cinematic performance was in the film Lovely to Look At, in which she played a supporting role. She went on to star in We’re Not Married! and Moulin Rouge, directed by John Huston, in which she had one of her rare main parts (1952). She would eventually be described as a ‘creditable’ actor by Huston.
Gabor was noted for her opulent Hollywood lifestyle, dazzling demeanor, and numerous marriages outside of her acting career. Gabor had nine spouses in total, including Conrad Hilton, the hotel entrepreneur, and actor George Sanders. She once said, “They have always been attracted to me, and I have always been attracted to men. But I like a manly man, not simply a man with muscles, who knows how to talk to and treat a lady.”
