The ensemble cast also includes Rob Morgan, Jonah Hill, Mark Rylance, Tyler Perry, Ron Perlman, Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Scott Mescudi, Cate Blanchett, and Meryl Streep. The film provides a satirical look at the global warming crisis. For the soundtrack, Ariana Grande and Kid Cudi collaborated on the song ‘Just Look Up.’
The film, which was co-produced by Hyperobject Industries and Bluegrass Films, will have a limited theatrical release on December 10, 2021, before being released on Netflix on December 24, 2021.
