Mark Sinclair, better known by his stage name Vin Diesel, is an actor and director from the United States. He is known for playing Dominic Toretto in the Fast & Furious franchise and is one of the world’s highest-grossing performers.

Bloodshot is a superhero movie based on the Valiant Comics character of the same name that will be released in 2020. It’s the first in a planned series of films set in a common cinematic universe created by Valiant Comics.

The film stars Vin Diesel, Eiza González, Sam Heughan, Toby Kebbell, and Guy Pearce and is directed by David S. F. Wilson (in his feature directorial debut) from a screenplay by Jeff Wadlow and Eric Heisserer and a story by Wadlow. It follows a soldier who was killed in action, only to be resurrected with superhuman abilities by a group that wants to use him as a tool.

Sony Pictures Releasing released Bloodshot in theatres on March 13, 2020, in the United States. The film garnered mixed reviews from critics, with acclaim for the visual effects and action but criticism for the bland execution and Diesel’s portrayal. Sony made the picture available digitally on-demand less than two weeks after it was released theatrically, due to the COVID-19 outbreak closing cinemas around the world.
