Simi Garewal, an Indian actress, director, producer, and talk show hostess, was born on October 17, 1947. She has two Filmfare Awards and one ITA Award to her name. Garewal was born in Delhi. Brigadier J. S. Garewal, her father, was a member of the Indian Army. Pamela Chopra, the wife of filmmaker Yash Chopra, is Simi’s cousin. Do Badan, Saathi, Mera Naam Joker, Siddhartha, Karz, and Udeekaan are some of her Hindi films (Punjabi film).
Garewal married Ravi Mohan of the Chunnamal dynasty of old Delhi, but the marriage was short-lived, and she is currently divorced. At the age of 17, Garewal had her first serious affair with the Maharaja of Jamnagar, who was also her English neighbor.
She made her acting debut in Satyajit Ray’s Bengali film Aranyer Din Ratri. She is also well-known for her celeb talk show, Rendezvous with Simi Garewal. Garewal returned to India as a teenager after spending much of her youth in England.
She is known as “The Lady in White” since she regularly wears her distinctive white attire on TV shows and during award ceremonies. ‘I feel good when I wear white,’ she said in an interview.
