Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar took the plunge in a dreamy wedding on Saturday, February 19 in Khandala. Two days later, they registered for the wedding in Mumbai. On Thursday, February 24, Shibani shared photographs from their Mehendi ceremony. And, it looks like it was fun and frolic!
Sharing happy pictures from the pre-wedding festivities, Shibani Dandekar thanked her sisters Anusha and Apeksha Dandekar. “Verified Two of best friends, my sisters, my protectors, my lifers, threw me the most incredible Mehendi! I felt the love and energy hard in the room that might! For standing by me through my wedding and my life @payalsinghal @nehalikotian the love is beyond deep! You both have wanted this for me for as long as I know so I guess your dreams came true! No words to describe your love and loyalty, only happy tears thank you for this! I’ll cherish the memory forever,” she added.
Sharing a few more pictures from the Mehendi ceremony, Shibani captioned the post, “What Boho Mehendi Dreams are made of.”
Shibani opted for a multi-colored lehenga for the Mehendi ceremony. Sharing the last set of photos from the night, she wrote, “No better way to kick off the wedding than this! thank you @payalsinghal @nehalikotian I love you deep.”
Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar’s intimate wedding took place at Akhtar’s farmhouse in Khandala.
