Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar recently took the plunge in an intimate wedding ceremony with their family and close in attendance. Having said that, Shibani’s close friend, actress Rhea Chakraborty was one of the celebs from the guest list.
Recently, Rhea took to her Instagram space and shared a set of happy moments from their wedding ceremony. The photographs were also accompanied by a heartwarming note which read, “Mr. and Mrs. Akhtar, Love is contagious, thank you for spreading so much love on your special day”.
She then added, “@shibanidandekar you make the most beautiful bride in the world, I love you to the moon and back. @faroutakhtar she’s your problem now, all the best, lots of love. #fairytalesdocometrue…@sam_and_ekta thank you for capturing these amazing memories.”
The newlyweds also made their first public appearance as a man and wife. They stepped out after their civil wedding in colour-coordinated traditional outfits as they posed for the shutterbugs together.
While Farhan looked handsome in a golden silk kurta set by Sabyasachi, Shibani looked divine in a pink sheer saree by Anamika Khanna, accessorized with diamond jewelry.
Farhan and Shibani exchanged voes on February 19 at Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi’s Khandala farmhouse. Farah Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Amrita Arora, Saqib Saleem, Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani, and Loy Mendonsa were among their guest list.
