Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s luxurious Mumbai home, Mannat, is all set to become even grander. Reports suggest the couple plans to add two new floors to the modern six-storeyed structure that forms part of the iconic property. Known as a landmark and tourist attraction, Mannat currently boasts a net worth of ₹200 crore.
According to Times Now, Gauri Khan has submitted an application to the coastal authorities, requesting permission for the construction. The proposed expansion would increase the height of the residential structure to eight storeys, further enhancing the property’s opulence.
Originally built in 1914 as a heritage property, Mannat seamlessly blends its historic charm with a contemporary structure where the Khans reside. The estimated cost of the new construction is pegged at a staggering ₹225 crore, promising to add another layer of grandeur to one of Bollywood’s most iconic addresses.
The application is currently under review.
