Shaheer Sheikh and his wife Ruchikaa Kapoor were blessed with a baby girl on September 11. The couple has revealed the name of their firstborn. They have named their baby girl Ananya. Taking to Instagram on Monday, Shaheer made the first official announcement and revealed the name of the little bundle of joy.
The telly actor shared a throwback happy picture where wife Ruchika is seen flaunting her baby bump in a pink maternity gown while Shaheer looked dapper in a casual t-shirt and trousers. Alongside the picture, he wrote “Blessed with the gift of life. Filled with immense gratitude need all your love and good wishes for the journey ahead. Keep us in your prayers #Anaya.”
Earlier, Sheikh hosted a low-key baby shower for his wife and decorated the place with pastel-colored balloons and neon lights and. The ceremony with only attended by his family and close friends.
Shaheer and Ruchika had a court marriage last year in November. The couple planned on hosting a wedding ceremony for their loved ones, although they scrapped the plans owing to the pandemic.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Shaheer is being presently seen in the Zee5 web series Pavitra Rishta 2.0 opposite Ankita Lokhande and Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi 3 alongside Erica Fernandes.
