Pan-India superstar Yash is all set to begin filming for one of the most ambitious Indian cinematic projects of recent times—Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. After wrapping up a major schedule of his upcoming action-thriller Toxic, the actor will now shift focus to the epic mythological drama, where he will be seen essaying the powerful role of Raavana.
The much-anticipated film, produced by Namit Malhotra in collaboration with Yash himself, has already generated massive buzz for its stellar ensemble, which includes Ranbir Kapoor in a pivotal role. According to sources close to the development, Yash is expected to commence shooting this week in Mumbai.
