Pakistani actor Fawad Khan’s much-anticipated Bollywood film Abir Gulaal will not see a release in India, according to sources within the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
The film, which marks Khan’s return to Hindi cinema after several years, was reportedly slated for a cross-border release. However, ministry officials have stated that due to prevailing regulations and diplomatic sensitivities, the release of the film in Indian theatres has been put on hold indefinitely.
