Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh is likely been dropped from the highly anticipated war drama Border 2. According to sources close to the production, the decision is likely comes in the wake of growing backlash over the casting of Pakistani actor Hania Amir opposite Dosanjh in his upcoming film Sardaar Ji 3.
While Border 2 — a spiritual sequel to the iconic 1997 war film — had initially locked Dosanjh for a key role alongside Sunny Deol and Ayushmann Khurrana, industry insiders now reveal that Daljit’s portion shall be reshot once he is officially removed by the producers.
