Steven Frederic Seagal, an American actor, screenwriter, producer, martial artist, and musician, was born on April 10, 1952. Seagal was born in the state of Michigan, in the city of Lansing. He began his adult life as a martial arts instructor in Japan, where he was the first foreigner to open an aikido dojo.
