After being taunted by females in the US, Priyanka Chopra confesses to feeling “inferior”

When Priyanka Chopra was questioned about the specifics of her bullying, the actress said it included a male.

Priyanka Chopra has always been someone who hasn’t held back from sharing her opinions or being outspoken about how she feels. The actress, who is on a promotional tour for her movie Love Again, has been forthcoming with the public about her private life. PeeCee has spoken out frequently about being tormented at school while living in the US. And now, the actress has revealed what she was personally tormented for in an interview with Alex Cooper for her podcast Call Her Daddy.

When Priyanka Chopra was questioned about the specifics of her bullying, the actress said it included a male. Priyanka continued by saying that while she wasn’t even permitted to leave her house after school, the group of girls believed she had spent the weekend with a male. According to Priyanka, the females just started picking on her and began calling her racist epithets. “Like, ‘I smell curry’, ‘Ooh I smell curry walking down the hallway’, ‘I don’t think she had the time to shower’. Nasty, racial things. Then it became just bullying, pushing against lockers, writing something nasty in the bathroom stalls. Things like mean girl stuff that high school is made of,” Priyanka said.

Priyanka Chopra said that all of these things made her feel less important, less than that girl, and smaller. She continued by saying that because of the self-assurance her parents had instilled in her, she had made the decision to depart for India. “I was like ‘fu** you America, I am going back to India and I’m glad that I did as it kick-started my whole career,” she said.
