Deepika Padukone is being lauded for her performance in her recently released film, Gehraiyaan. In the film, Deepika essayed the role of Alisha, Ananya Panday’s cousin. She shared screen space with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Dhairya Karwa. Now, she wrote a heartfelt note on social media after receiving a good response for her character in the film.
Deepika shared a bunch of photos of Gehraiyaan on her Instagram page. Overwhelmed with the response, the actress captioned her post, “The response to Gehraiyaan has been dizzying, to say the least! ‘Alisha’ has been my most visceral, indelible, and delicious experience as an artist. While I am ecstatic and overwhelmed, I am also truly grateful and humbled!”
After Gehraiyaan was released, Ranveer Singh dropped a mushy picture with his wife Deepika. The actor also lauded his lady love’s performance in Gehraiyaan.

On the work front, after Gehraiyaan, Deepika Padukone has multiple projects lined up. She will be seen in Fighter opposite Hrithik Roshan. The movie is being helmed by Siddharth Anand. She also has Pathan co-starring Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham.
Besides this, Deepika will be seen in The Intern with Amitabh Bachchan. She also has Project K with Prabhas lined up.
