Famous Punjabi rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh recently came into the headlines when his wife Shalini Talwar filed a domestic violence complaint against him. The singer broke his silence on Friday and stated this case.
The statement says that he is in pain and upset by this false allegation on him and his family by his 20 years of companion, Mrs. Shalini Talwar. The charges put on him are very offensive and he said that earlier he never issued any public statement or press note. After facing the harsh criticism of his song lyrics, thought regarding his health, and negative media coverage, he didn’t utter a voice. But, now he didn’t feel to be silent as now the allegations are on his family and his sister, who were with him in his odd times. These allegations are defaming him. He added that he is in the industry for more than 15 years and worked with famous artists and musicians from all over the globe.
He also said that everyone knows about his relationship with his wife. Shalini was an important part of his crew over the decade. Also, she has accompanied the singer on his shoots, events, and meetings. He refused all allegations and said that he can’t pass a statement as the case is under the judiciary Court of Law. He said that he has faith in the judicial system of the nation and is confident that the truth will come out in front of everyone. Still, the allegations didn’t come as true and the Hon’ble Court has allowed him to give a reply on these kinds of allegations.
In the end, Honey Singh requested all the fans not to have any conclusion regarding him and his family. He said his fans to wait till the court declares a conclusion by listening to both sides. He said that he is grateful for all the love he gets from his fans and well-wishers, his fans inspire him to work hard and deliver good music.
Shalini Tiwari has filed a case against Honey Singh. The case is regarding domestic violence, sexual violence, mental harassment, and financial violence on 3rd August 2021. As per the source, she filed a case in Delhi’s Tis Hazari court under the ‘Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act’.
