Anubhav Sinha’s ‘Anek,’ starring Ayushmann Khurrana and poised to take fans on a quest to help India win, pushes him to the ultimate test to show his mettle as an undercover cop.
Following the release of an engaging rescue mission for the film’s poster on social media, the makers released a video on Thursday in which Ayushmann Khurrana’s character undergoes a lie detection test and passes with flying colours, owing to his confidence, resilience, and hardcore training, always putting the needs of the country before his own. The commercial showcases the qualities of an Indian undercover officer.
The forthcoming thriller ‘Anek’ is intended to be an exciting experience for the viewer, and this video provides a sneak peek at Ayushmann’s character’s risky and adventurous trip in the film.
According to Anubhav Sinha, “It takes a great deal of training and strength both physical and mental to be an undercover cop and we’ve tried to portray that. This is just one of the things that a undercover cop is trained for and we will be highlighting a few of the other traits in the upcoming videos for the movie.”
The actor’s two identities, Joshua and Aman, are also featured in the video. While Joshua is a commoner and local café owner, Aman is motivated, powerful, and, as he puts it, “a man on a mission. “Khudko capture karvana, meri planning… lie detector ko beat karna…meri training Let the mission begin…”
‘Anek,’ starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Andrea Kevichusa, is a co-production between Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Benaras Mediaworks. On May 27, the film will be released.
