The creators of Satyaprem Ki Katha, starring Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan, have released Arijit Singh’s song Pasoori Nu. The adaptation of Ali Sethi’s masterpiece has disappointed netizens!
It was recently claimed that the creators of Satyaprem Ki Katha, starring Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan, will adapt Pakistani singers Ali Sethi and Shae Gill’s classic song Pasoori for the film. Since then, there has been scepticism about the replication of Ali Sethi’s masterwork, and if the new version would be able to live up to the original, which has already gained global acclaim.
Today, the creators finally released the song Pasoori Nu, sung by Arijit Singh and Tulsi Kumar, and it appears that Netizens aren’t overjoyed with the replicated version of Ali Sethi’s masterpiece.

Kartik Aaryan posted the song video on Instagram with the caption, “Aadha hai Dil mera..Poora Tujhse Hove Feel The Magic of Love with Arijit’s Midas Touch #PasooriNu Song Out Now#SatyaPremKiKathaTHIS WEEK #29thJUNE.” One fan commented on the post and wrote, “A remake nobody asked for,” while another one wrote, “Had to listen the original pasoori after listening this.”
Many people shared their displeasure with the changed lyrics on Twitter as well. “#Pasoori by Ali Sethi was too good!” said one Twitter user. In addition to Pasoori Nu, other tracks from the Satyaprem Ki Katha album that have already been made public include Naseeb Se, Aaj Ke Baad, Gujju Pataka, and Sun Sajni.
Additionally, “Satyaprem Ki Katha” represents a significant amount of NGE and Namah Pictures’ cooperation. For their separate feature films, Sajid Nadiadwala and Shareen Mantri Kedia alongside Kishor Arora and director Sameer Vidwans each received a National Award. The movie “Satyaprem Ki Katha” will open in theatres on June 29, 2023.
