Priyanka Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas are celebrating their first Maha Shivratri after becoming proud parents to a baby girl. Taking to Instagram Stories, the actress shared a picture as they performed pooja at their home in Los Angeles. In the photo, Priyanka is seen sitting next to Nick in front of an idol of Lord Shiva.
For the pooja, Priyanka opted for a pink outfit and covered her hair with a dupatta. While Nick wore off-white ethnic wear. Sharing the picture, she wrote in Hindi, “Maha Shivratri ki hardik shubhkamnaye (Best wishes on Maha Shivratri).”
She also added, “Har har Mahadev! Happy “Mahashivratri to everyone celebrating. Om Namah Shivay.”
In another post, the diva gave a closer glimpse of her outfit. She added a red heart emoticon and also tagged Pooja Rajpal Jaggi and Tamanna Dutt.
In January, Priyanka and Nick became parents via surrogacy and had shared a joint note on Instagram. Announcing the news, Priyanka shared a note that read, “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family.”
The couple tied the knot in December 2018 in India after dating for a while.
Meanwhile, professionally, Priyanka was last seen in The Matrix Resurrections. She has recently wrapped up filming for Citadel and Text For You. She will also be seen in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zara along with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
