Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar took vows in presence of their family members and close friends on February 19. Post which, the couple had their civil wedding on February 21 in Mumbai. On Saturday, February 26, the couple shared pictures from their wedding on Instagram. The two look adorable after saying ‘I do’.
Shibani Dandekar shared a bunch of pictures from her civil wedding with hubby Farhan Akhtar. Sharing photos, she wrote, “I do @faroutakhtar.” Shibani looked absolutely gorgeous in a blush pink Anamika Khanna saree. Meanwhile, Farhan Akhtar looked dapper in a golden Sabyasachi kurta set.
In her next post, Shibani shared another set of pictures from the ceremony and captioned the post with the wedding date in roman numerals, “XXI-II-XXII,” she added.
Farhan Akhtar also shared a set of pictures from the civil wedding and wrote, “I do. @shibanidandekar,” and dropped a heart emoji.
Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar’s wedding took place in Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi’s farmhouse in Khandala. The couple exchanged vows with only family members and a few close friends in attendance. Their wedding guest list included celebs like Ritesh Sidwani, Rhea Chakraborty, Monica Dogra, Amrita Arora, Samir Kochar, and Hrithik Roshan, among others.
