Jashnn — The Music Within is a 2009 Bollywood Hindi-language musical romantic movie directed by Raksha Mistry and starring Adhyayan Suman, Anjana Sukhani, Shahana Goswami, and Pakistani actor Humayun Saeed. It was written by Shagufta Rafiq and produced by Raksha Mistry and Hasnain S Hyderabadwala. Vishesh Films is in charge of the production.
Jashnn is centered on the character Akash Verma, a twenty-year-old Indian kid who aspires to be a singing icon who can stand out among the galaxy of established singers. He has dreams in his heart, but he hasn’t been able to discover that particular voice that will catapult him to the top.
Only until he is shattered by life and unflinchingly confronts the ugly truth – that he is a freeloader on his elder sister Nisha, who has become the mistress of a wealthy businessman, Aman Bajaj, in order to provide him with a respectable lifestyle – is he able to reach his inner core.
