How is the movie Akira?

AR Murugadoss co-wrote, produced, and directed Akira, a 2016 Indian Hindi-language action crime thriller film. Konkana Sen Sharma, Sonakshi Sinha, and Anurag Kashyap star in the film, which is a remake of the Tamil-language film Mouna Guru from 2011.

Principal photography began in March 2015, and the film was released on September 2, 2016, in theatres worldwide. Vishal-Shekhar composed the music, which was released on August 16, 2016. Critics gave the picture mixed reviews, with acclaim for the cast’s performances but criticism for the film’s screenplay.

The Vishal-Shekhar pair composed all of the songs in the film. The film’s background score was composed by John Stewart Eduri. The song Kehkasha Tu Meri is a version of the duo’s Marathi song Harvali Pakhare, which was sung by Shekhar Ravjiani in the 2012 film Balak-Palak.
On its first day in India, the picture made 56 million rupees (US$740,000). Akira has generated 170 million Rupees (US$2.3 million) in its first weekend and around 223 million Rupees (US$3.0 million) in its first week nationally.

Akira earned 14.2 million Rupees (US$190,000) in North America (America and Canada), 28.2 million Rupees (US$370,000) in the UAE, and 6.1 million Rupees (US$81,000) in the United Kingdom. Pakistan paid 7.8 million Rupees (US$100,000) for the film.
